High cost effiective speakers for punchy dynamics stereo sound.
Although D series is just entry level, its cabinets are made of solid medium density fibreboard (MDF). Front plates are designed with wave guiding horns for clearer imaging and wider soundstage.
Compared with D50 home theater system, D60 keeps the same look and cabinet design, yet adopts larger 8″ woofers for deeper and stunning bass.
Front speaker D60F features a 3-way 4th-order vented box system, consisting of two 8″ long-throw woofers, one 5″ midrange driver and a 1.1″ dome tweeter. Two identical woofers arrayed together enable the system to cover low frequencies all the way down to 38Hz.
A separate 5″ midrange drivers is designed for mids where the heart of music resides.
The center speaker uses same drivers as the front speakers do, keep good seaming performance. The D’Appolito array of drivers which are mounted on the same plate provides us with a clear imaging for its low cabinet resonance.
Like the center and upper part of front speakers, drivers of surround speakers are also mounted on the same plate, keeping consistent only in appearance but also in sound performance.
